Each week our K - 2 students interact with their natural environment during Outdoor Education sessions. Outdoor Education provides an opportunity for students to develop in a range of areas such as practical, collaborative, social, creative and communication skills. This is called learning across the curriculum. Students choose to work on individual or group investigations and drive their own discoveries and interests. Some of the fun activities the students have participated in so far this year have been: building shelters, whittling, constructing rope swings and making frog hotels. Throughout these experiences the students are increasing their respect and understanding of the world around them.
